Job Description
Part-Time Delivery Associate
Join our team as a Delivery Associate, where you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards before delivering them to our valued customers. Your role will involve working within a team to deliver products safely and courteously while also supporting various restaurant duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare the vehicle for deliveries, learn the delivery area, and check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service through friendly interactions both in-person and over the phone.
• Follow all delivery procedures and act with urgency to meet customer expectations.
• Assist with food preparation, ingredient prep, and order taking when needed.
• Support your team by being punctual, collaborating with coworkers, and ensuring smooth operations at the end of each shift.
• Process orders and payment transactions accurately, while managing cash effectively and maintaining the cleanliness of your work area.
• Contribute to sales efforts by making recommendations to customers and distributing promotional materials.
Qualifications:
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Dependable with a proven ability to meet deadlines and overcome obstacles.
• Strong customer focus with a commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations.
• Proactive approach to addressing issues and taking initiative to achieve results.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet business objectives.
• Cash management skills are a plus.
Education:
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• This position requires standing for extended periods, using hands repetitively, and performing tasks that require fine motor skills.
• Occasionally, you may need to lift or move up to fifty pounds and perform actions such as bending, reaching, and crouching.
Work Environment:
• You will work outdoors in varying temperatures and in a noisy environment.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and potential hazards.
Additional Information:
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record, proof of insurance, and a suitable vehicle are required.
• Flexibility to work long hours including nights and weekends.
• Ability to cross-train for other restaurant positions as necessary.
• Bilingual skills in certain markets are a plus.
• This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
