Part-Time Administration & Payroll Assistant
Location: Redland Bay, QLD
Hours: 22.8 hours per week (Part-Time – SCHADS Award)
Brisbane Care Services is a growing NDIS provider committed to delivering high-quality supports to people living with disability. We're looking for an organised, reliable and proactive Administration & Payroll Assistant to join our close-knit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy office environment, and takes pride in accuracy and organisation.
About the Role
This position is 22.8 hours per week, with:
Monday & Tuesday: 8:00am – 4:00pm (flexible start/finish times by agreement) – these days are fixed due to payroll processing.
Third day: Negotiable to suit both the successful applicant and business needs.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for a variety of administration tasks, including:
Processing weekly payroll accurately and on time
Maintaining employee and contractor HR records
Preparing employment and onboarding documentation
Filing and maintaining digital and hard-copy records
General administration and office support
Assisting with compliance documentation
Responding to emails and phone enquiries
Data entry and maintaining internal systems
Providing administrative support to management as required
Other ad hoc administrative duties as the business continues to grow
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous payroll or accounts administration experience (preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
The ability to work independently while also being a valued member of a small team
Experience within the NDIS, Xero Payroll or employment compliance will be highly regarded but is not essential.
