We are looking for an experienced Parks Landscape and Fencing Maintainer to join our Parks Services team. In this hands‑on role, you will carry out fencing installation and repairs, minor landscape construction works and general parks maintenance across the City’s public open spaces. You will operate plant and machinery, including trucks, loaders and specialised horticultural equipment, while working safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team.
We can offer you variety with duties that include developing and maintaining work programs, preparing maintenance schedules, landscaping, garden refurbishment, pruning, litter removal, fertilising, mowing, mulching and general garden/turf maintenance.
You will be required to work to daily maintenance schedules and safely operate of a variety of horticultural equipment.

Current “MR” class driver’s licence
Current Provide First Aid Certificate
Construction Induction Training (White Card)
Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate (BWTM)
License to Perform High Risk Work DG (Dogging)
License to Perform High Risk Work LF (Forklift ticket)
Hiab competency
Front end loader competency
Chainsaw Operators Certificate
This position offers a weekly wage of $1,466 (gross) which incorporates all allowances and penalty rates, as well as:
12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
A variety of health and wellbeing programs including a physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $200 per annum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mental health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services
Flexible working arrangements, including rostered days off and two additional paid days of absence per annum
A culture of learning with training/development opportunities including paid study leave and study fees
Salary packaging opportunities for motor vehicles, etc.
