Job Description
Overview of the Role:
Chalat Hatten & Banker PC, a downtown Denver boutique personal injury law firm, is seeking a detail-oriented full-time Paralegal. Working directly with one or more partners, you will collaboratively develop all aspects of clients’ cases including strategy, communication, evidence gathering, drafting pleadings, trial preparation, and management of deadlines.
Core Responsibilities:
-Drafting pleadings, discovery, and professional correspondence
-Maintaining and organizing client files
-Scheduling and deadline management
-E-Filing in state and federal courts
-Supervising medical records collection vendors
-Preparing cases for trial and attending trial as necessary.
-Communicating effectively with team members, clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
-Providing general administrative support
Desired Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree from accredited college, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience
-3+ years of experience of paralegal work in the Personal Injury field
-Technology proficiency including Microsoft Office programs, and use of case management software, Filevine experience is a plus.
-Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized personality with strong verbal and written communication skills
-Passionate, empathetic, and optimistic team player
-Skiing or snowboarding experience preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
-$65,000-$85,000 annual salary
-Hybrid remote/in-office
