Your Role

As a Painter, you’ll engage in the removal of Graffiti from City assets in both the public and private realm. This will primarily be in the forms of painted surfaces, markers, chalks and stickers. Techniques will involve but not be limited to colour matched paint-out, chemical removal, high pressure cleaning as well as scrapping off of stickers and posters. Reporting to the Supervisor, you’ll be instrumental in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and painting of all City facilities including in parks, road reserves, car parks, sports grounds and buildings in the act of Graffiti Removal;
Preparation and painting of Privately Owned Buildings and property in the act of public realm Graffiti Removal, including use of both chemical and paint out techniques;
Colour matching for the removal of Graffiti from Buildings and Infrastructure; and
Maintain compliant work practices in accordance with all relevant legislation, recordkeeping frameworks and all other relevant Council policies and procedures, and other frameworks.
