InterContinental San Francisco - Hotel Engineer, Journeyperson Overnight Shift
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team as a Hotel Engineer, Journeyperson. This is an overnight shift, typically scheduled from 11PM to 7AM.
Your primary responsibilities include maintaining guestrooms, public areas, and the heart-of-house by performing various tasks related to different trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering, and masonry.
Key Tasks:
Operating and maintaining stationary engines and mechanical equipment to provide essential utilities for buildings and industrial processes.
Carrying out routine maintenance activities to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
Providing excellent service to guests by responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues efficiently and safely.
Responding to emergencies, including fires, security breaches, and power failures, by following established protocols and notifying relevant authorities.
Ensuring all facilities and equipment are functioning properly by conducting regular inspections and reporting any defects or issues.
Accurately documenting maintenance activities, including completion of work orders and logging equipment readings.
Collaborating with colleagues to coordinate elevator repairs and ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements:
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or a minimum of two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
