Job Description
OT (Operation Theater) staff nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures in the operating room.
This involves assessing patient needs, preparing patients for surgery, monitoring vital signs during surgery, and providing post-operative care.
The OT staff nurse works closely with the surgical team, including the surgeon and anesthetist, to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and that procedures are performed safely and efficiently.
Responsible for maintaining surgical equipment, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring that the operating room is kept clean and sterile.
