Orthodontic Assistant

Our growing, privately owned orthodontic practice is looking for an orthodontic assistant with great customer service skills to assist the orthodontist. You must be willing to be trained to work multiple areas in the office, have a strong work ethic, be very energetic (love being around people and working at a fast pace), a team player, able to learn, and detail-oriented. Orthodontic experience is not required, we want to train the right person!

Daily Responsibilities and Duties

Provide outstanding customer service for the patient with an excellent chair side manner
Assist the doctor with all dental procedures and provide appropriate documentation in the practice software
Take accurate and high quality radiographs
Perform various laboratory duties
Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
Follow all OSHA guidelines
Track incoming and outgoing lab cases
Monitor level of dental supplies and order as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
