Job Description Oracle Database Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Oracle database systems. This role involves ensuring the performance availability and security of databases, as well as providing advanced technical support. 4+years experience in designing, deploying and managing Oracle database systems. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Architect high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM. Implement and manage database security protocols, including access controls and encryption. Design and manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and third-party tools. Perform regular database maintenance, updates, and patches. Develop and maintain database documentation, including schemas, configurations, and procedures . Primary skills Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM. Architect high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM. Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, performance tuning, and database internals. Familiarity with cloud-based Oracle deployments (OCI, AWS RDS for Oracle). Secondary skills Manage database-related projects and coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement. Optimize database performance through tuning and indexing.
