Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle 1+c database administration, including performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and advanced Oracle features.
This role is critical to maintaining the stability, availability, and performance of our database systems in a high-demand environment.
• Install, configure, and administer Oracle 1+c databases across development and production environments.
• Manage and support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Monitor databases proactively using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Implement and manage Multitenant Architecture (CDB/PDB), including advanced features like Automatic Indexing and Real-Time SQL Monitoring.
• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries and resolve performance bottlenecks using Oracle diagnostic tools.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Perl.
• Ensure robust database security, data integrity, and compliance with best practices.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Ensuring ++.+% uptime for production database environments.
• Achieving targeted response time benchmarks through query tuning and system optimization.
• Maintaining 100% backup coverage and performing quarterly recovery drills with successful outcomes.
• Ensuring zero breaches and maintaining compliance with organizational and industry security standards.
• Implementing automation solutions that reduce manual tasks by at least 30%.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle 1+c database administration.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of multitenant architecture and advanced features.
• Ability to create and maintain automation scripts.
