Job Roles: Oracle DB Administrator (L3)
The Oracle DBA will be responsible for providing 24x7 support in rotational shift. The role includes troubleshooting issues and performance tuning in Prod and Non - Production, Installations, automation, Patching and Migration. Candidate should be able to work independently or in team on specific assigned tasks along with day to day operations. Also need to guide team and take ownership of tasks and complete within timeline. Able to handle workload.

Job Description:
• Expertise in Oracle administration, RAC Administration
• Able to handle escalated RAC issues
• Define and implement database best practices
• Execute all changes of DB schema and maintain controlled development database environment
• Provide day to day support of high OLTP RAC databases
• Very good understanding of trouble shooting experience in High Available Production environments
• Automation knowledge & able to automate BAU tasks
• User management
• Managing DB backups (physical, Logical…) & restoration
• Provide technical support to monitor and maintain environments
• Coordinating with Onsite, sharing the work and getting done on time
• Experience in managing 24x7 production environments
• Proficient in Performance Tuning
• Knowledge of Operating Systems and Storage level technologies
• Working experience in Standby databases
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt in demanding environment
• Must be proficient in access management and managing Login, Database roles, Object level permission
• Must have experience and willing to assist Application teams with technical support and provide feasible quick turnaround solutions
• Good oral and written communication skills - must be comfortable communicating with technical peers and customers
• Good understanding of ITIL Processes
