Position: Oracle Database Administrator (L2)
Experience: 6 Plus year
Location: Noida/Pune
Work Mode: Hybrid
Role Description: Oracle Database Administrators (Oracle DBAs) are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s Oracle databases. Oracle is a widely used database management system in enterprise IT, especially for small to mid-sized businesses. DBAs follow structured policies and procedures to make sure the database is secure, reliable, and performs well.
Key Responsibilities (Functional - Open Source DBA)
Installations and configuration of Enterprise, Open source Databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) on various flavors of UNIX, LINUX and Windows environments in standalone, High availability, DR databases.
Experience on MySQL, MariaDB, PostGreSQL, MongoDB DB
. • Should have strong knowledge on Database Upgrade, Migration, Patch Installation and Implementation.
Should have knowledge on sql query tuning, database level tuning and troubleshooting long running queries.
Familiarity with database design, coding, and documentation
Data base optimization and enhancement of performance
Cloning of Production Instance to UAT/Dev.
Strong Knowledge on backup & recovery management and troubleshooting the backup issues.
Strong knowledge on database and tables refresh.
User Creation, User Management, granting Roles and Privileges.
Regularly updating the database security protocols
Basic Shell scripting
. • Creating storage database structures with high-level security features
Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company
. • Setting up database user accounts
Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity
Knowledge of programming languages and API.
Ability to visualize algorithmic structures
Key Performance Indicators
Problem determination and resolution within SLA's.
High quality of all deliverables
Understand complex problem solving techniques dealing with systems engineering and support
Keep the Leads informed of task accomplishment, issues and status.

Continuous improvement
Reduce verbal requests for support

Pay: ₹1,700,000.00 - ₹2,300,000.00 per year
