Oracle Database Administrator

Experience: 7 to 10 years

Location: Chennai / Hyderabad

Mandatory Skill: RAC, Data Guard, Oracle DBA
• Strong understanding of Databases like Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, Mongodb and Cassandra
• Exposure on the Druid and Memsql database technologies
• Strong knowledge in DB admin function with exposure to cloud migrations (AWS, OCI, GCP) , DB modernization, and transformation, data center consolidation
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC
• Strong knowledge in Oracle Data Guard
• Strong knowledge in Oracle Golden Gate
• Strong knowledge in Oracle EXADATA environments
• Strong knowledge in Oracle Container Databases
• Strong knowledge in AWS Database Admin tasks.
• Strong knowledge in linux shell scripting
• Strong knowledge in Database DevOps principles
• Strong knowledge in developing functional logics in PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Strong knowledge in Linux admin tasks
• Strong knowledge in expdp/impdp
• Expertise in RMAN backup and recovery
• Exposure to monitoring tools like NewRelic Splunk, OEM etc and automation of monitoring
• Exposure on CI/ CD using GIT, Jenkins, Flyway, Liquibase
• Exposure to Python scripting is an added advantage
• Production support functions for DB maintenance and outage management
• Database Tablespace /User / File system management
