Plans, designs, develops, and implements complex computerized databases, to include data definition, structure, documentation of databases, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Establishes database standards and guidelines, assuring the quality of database deliverables, and working with development teams to support database needs.
What we're looking for
A lead DBA with 12 to 15 years of experience in Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server in a standalone or RAC Environment.
Must have hands-on proven experience in the following:
Oracle Real Application cluster (RAC) and ASM.
Backup/Restore, Database Export/Import, Data pump and RMAN experience. Usage of Oracle RMAN and Alert logs.
Disaster recovery and Data Guard experience
Oracle 12c to 1+c migration experience; Migrating schemas using traditional exp/imp and Oracle Data pump utilities.
Start and Stop of Oracle Database Services.
Create/Support automated scripted solutions (using shell script) to perform various administration and monitoring tasks.
Server and operating system knowledge (Linux and Windows)
Implementing high availability solutions using Oracle Real Application Cluster.
Implementing DR solutions using Oracle Standby Database using Oracle Data Guard.
Generating and Analyzing Oracle AWR Reports.
Monitor data backup process and perform data recovery if required
Familiarity with Oracle CPU and PSU patching procedure is highly desired .
