Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle 11g Database Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Oracle databases, ensuring performance, security, and availability.
Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle 11g databases.
• Monitor database performance and tune for optimal performance.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with application developers to optimize database queries.
• Perform data migration and data integration tasks.
• Ensure database security and compliance with organizational policies.
• Troubleshoot database issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
• 6-16 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, specifically with Oracle 11g.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL programming.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Proficient in backup and recovery procedures using RMAN.
• Familiarity with Oracle Data Guard and replication techniques.
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools.
• Understanding of database security best practices and auditing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
