Bloor West Optometry is a well-established, full-scope private practice located in the heart of Bloor West Village at Jane & Bloor. We’re currently seeking a licensed Optician to join us. If you’re confident in your skills, enjoy working directly with patients, and appreciate working in a practice where your expertise is valued — we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Guiding patients through frame and lens selections that suit their lifestyle and prescription needs
Educating patients on lens options including progressives, anti-fatigue, and safety lenses
Taking precise measurements and ensuring proper fittings
Managing multiple responsibilities in a steady, fast-paced environment
Delivering exceptional, personalized service that keeps patients coming back
This role is hands-on, patient-facing, and ideal for someone who takes pride in both technical accuracy and customer care.
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Optician (required)
Minimum 1 year of optical experience
AEC, DEP, or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Strong attention to detail
Clear, confident communication skills
Professional, personable, and team-oriented attitude
