Are you an experienced and people-focused receptionist looking to join a friendly, professional team where your contribution really matters? Dr Alan Burrow Optometry are looking for a passionate Optical Receptionist to join our practice on a part-time basis.
Whether you come from an optical background or you're new to the industry, if you love customer service and want to make a difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be the welcoming face of our practice – so we’re after someone who is confident, caring, and organised. Ideally, you’ll have:
2+ years of experience in office administration or reception
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to delivering outstanding patient service
A professional and polished presentation
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Great time management and the ability to multitask
A willingness to learn and grow in the role
Optical experience is highly regarded – but not essential. We’ll provide full training in optical dispensing for the right candidate.
Your Day-to-Day
You’ll play a key role in keeping our clinic running smoothly and providing a great experience for every patient. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing front desk and general reception duties
Booking and assisting with patient appointments
Supporting the team with daily operations
Ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all
