Overseeing day-to-day workflow, job scheduling and resource allocation
Leading, coaching and supporting team members to deliver high-quality work
Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company standards
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients – and identifying new opportunities
Supporting new staff through onboarding and training
Handling operational issues as they arise and escalating when needed
Monitoring job performance, costs, risks and reporting to management
Championing quality, ISO standards and continuous improvement
Ensuring accurate job safety documentation, hazard reporting and incident follow-up
What you’ll need to succeed:
Certificate in Scaffolding/Rigging (Level 4 & above) and relevant competency certificates
Full, clean Class 1 licence
2–3 years’ leadership or managerial experience in construction or engineering
Strong understanding of NZ construction practices
Proven ability to manage clients, build relationships and grow business
Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously and lead multi-skilled teams
Confident with PCs and familiar with operational systems
