As we expand our operations in India, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and lead our on-site event management efforts.
Role Responsibilities
• Oversee the planning and execution of various event tech operations.
• Ensure all events meet company standards for quality and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of event coordinators / Volunteers, fostering their professional development.
• Coordinate with different departments to align event objectives with company goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
• Implement technology solutions to enhance event registeration processes.
• Analyze event performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
• Handle on-site logistics, ensuring smooth execution of events.
• Oversee vendor management, ensuring quality services are delivered.
• Develop and maintain event timelines and schedules.
• Monitor and manage event-related risks, addressing issues promptly.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in event tech.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in operations management in the event industry.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale events effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in event management software and tools.
• Strong analytical skills to assess event success and areas for improvement.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving capability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of budget management and cost control practices.
• Strong understanding of event industry trends and client expectations.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed.
• Certification in project management is a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and requirements.
