Job Description
Our client, a rapidly growing enterprise in the service sector, is looking for an experienced and visionary Operations Director to lead their operations in Kolkata, West Bengal, IN . This critical leadership role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operational efficiency, strategic planning, and team management to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives. The Operations Director will champion innovation, implement best practices, and ensure the delivery of exceptional services to clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and executing strategic operational plans aligned with the company's overall vision and goals. Managing and mentoring cross-functional operational teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring operational performance against targets, implementing corrective actions as needed. Overseeing budget management, resource allocation, and financial planning for the operations department. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and quality standards. Identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing new technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners. Leading change management initiatives and ensuring smooth transitions during periods of growth or restructuring. Driving a customer-centric approach to all operational activities, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management. Demonstrable experience in strategic planning, team leadership, and performance management is essential. Strong financial acumen, excellent problem-solving abilities, and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are required. Experience in a similar industry sector is highly advantageous.
