Operations & Deal Progression Manager
Job Description
About Rothmore Property
Rothmore Property is a Manchester-based property investment consultancy with eight years of developer relationships and an active footprint across Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London. We connect investors with high-quality residential and off-plan opportunities spanning new-build, and bulk acquisition strategies.
The Role
This is a hands-on role at the centre of how the business runs day to day. You will be the person who keeps deals moving, processes working, and the team organised. You will work closely with the Managing Director and take real ownership of operational delivery across the business.
We are not looking for someone who has already done everything. We are looking for someone with solid property experience, a practical mindset, and the drive to build something properly. This role will grow as the business grows, and the right person will grow with it.
If you are someone who takes pride in keeping things running well, who finds satisfaction in bringing order to a fast-moving environment, and who wants to be part of building a business rather than just working in one, this is the right opportunity.
What You Will Do
Deal Progression
Own the end-to-end progression of property transactions from reservation through to legal completion
Liaise directly with solicitors, developers, and investors to keep deals on track and resolve issues quickly
Maintain accurate records of every active deal and provide clear progress updates to the MD and clients
Identify and flag risks early, and take the initiative to resolve them rather than waiting to be asked
Operations and Process
Design and document clear workflows for core business functions including client onboarding, compliance, and post-sale management
Ensure processes are not just written but followed, and improve them when they are not working
Coordinate day-to-day activity across the team to make sure the right things happen at the right time
Act as the operational point of contact for developer partners, solicitors, and other external parties
CRM and Systems
Take ownership of HubSpot as the operational backbone of the business, ensuring it is kept accurate and up to date
Support the management of the investor database, ensuring contacts are correctly categorised and communications are timely
Identify where systems and tools can be used more effectively and make practical improvements
Compliance and Administration
Support AML checks and client verification at the point of reservation, ensuring all documentation is complete and correctly stored
Maintain accurate regulatory records in line with HMRC requirements and industry standards
Handle the administrative backbone of the business with precision and without being prompted
What We Are Looking For
Essential
At least two to three years of experience in a property-related role, whether in sales, lettings, investment or operations
A genuine understanding of how property transactions work and what can go wrong in them
Strong organisational skills and a track record of managing multiple things at once without dropping the ball
Clear, confident written and verbal communication, including the ability to deal professionally with solicitors, developers, and clients
A proactive approach: someone who sees what needs doing and does it, rather than waiting to be told
High attention to detail, particularly around documentation and compliance
Desirable
Familiarity with HubSpot CRM or a similar platform
Experience in a consultancy, agency, or advisory environment
Exposure to AML processes and regulated property investment
An interest in building skills and taking on more responsibility over time
Who You Are
You are organised, reliable, and calm when things get busy. You do not wait for permission to sort something out. You communicate clearly and follow through on what you say you will do.
You are also someone who cares about doing a good job, not just completing tasks. You notice when something is not working and you say so. You take ownership of your area without needing to be chased.
You are ready for a role where you have real responsibility and real scope to make an impact. You want to be part of something that is growing, and you want to grow with it.
What We Offer
A competitive salary in line with experience
A real opportunity to grow into a senior role as the business scales
Direct access to and support from the Managing Director
Exposure to a wide range of property investment activity across multiple markets
A collaborative, team environment where your contribution is visible and valued
Manchester city centre office at Manchester One, Portland Street
Pay: £26,599.85-£30,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
