Our client, Hydraulic Technologies is a global manufacturer with headquarters in Rockford Illinois USA. They are a market leader and have been selling hydraulic tooling equipment for over 40 years in the Australian Market. They supply a number of highly regarded brands into the market through a range distribution channel.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for warehouse operations, inventory, purchasing and vendor maintenance. It is the Operations Coordinator's responsibility to oversee all aspects of the warehouse include the store person functions including that both inward and outward good accuracy levels. Inventory responsibility includes ensuring stock levels are maintained, purchase orders are placed on suppliers where required and systems are updated accordingly. It is also expected that the Operations Coordinator will assist the store person when required.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain inventory levels in SAP
Place purchase orders on Vendors as required
Manage Vendors in SAP
Update SAP with stock lead times based on factory confirmations
Oversee warehouse operations
Work with logistics companies to coordinate deliveries
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES
Previous experience with dealing with Logistics companies
Understanding of warehouse management
Forklift license would be favourable
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Knowledge of SAP would be looked upon favourably
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 year of hands-on experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
A valid driver's license and strong driving record.
Forklift License preferred
