Our client is an FMCG company based in Mumbai. They are into multiple product lines and aim to build a sustainable brand. They are looking to hire a Manufacturing Head based out of their Mumbai office.
Job Description
Reporting to the MD of the company,you'll be responsible for:
Handling responsibilities of multiple factories across India through Plant Heads and spearheading the team
Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing units, Sales, EHS & other stakeholders
Striving for cost efficiency across processes, creating and implementing best practices, procedures, and strategies to improve business performance
Driving automation across plants for improved productivity and efficiency
Managing manpower in Planning, development, and nurturing teams for career growth, morale, and grooming for higher positions in the organisation
Leading R&D initiatives across Plants for NPD or existing products/processes and actively participating in the expansion
Ensuring Compliance with legal standards for the Plants
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you are an Engineering graduate (preferably a Master's) with 15-20 years of experience in Manufacturing as well as R&D in the FMCG sector. You are an expert in handling multiple Plants, heading Plant Managers for operations as well as strategy development for the Plants. You strive to improve all processes for Manufacturing operations and have in-depth knowledge of Legal Compliance for Plants, Environment, Health, Safety, Lean manufacturing, and cost-effectiveness of the Plants. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, are an excellent communicator, and are open to new challenges.
