General Clerk Grade, base salary ($36,668 - $71,777), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role


The Operational Assistant provides various clerical and client support services to meet the needs of clients and ensure the operational effectiveness of the Court. Services include courtroom assistance, processing court documents, daily correspondence, data entry and records management.


What you’ll do


Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the Court and Registry, including assistance with Registrar case management listings.
Accurately enter data and efficiently retrieve information using the Court’s computer systems.
Maintain court files and support courtroom operations, including managing exhibits, subpoenas, and incoming/outgoing mail in line with security and confidentiality requirements.
Deliver high‑quality client service by responding to routine procedural inquiries clearly, courteously, and in a timely manner.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and comply with departmental policies, including workplace health and safety, ethical practices, EEO, and diversity strategies.

What we’re looking for


Ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a high‑volume, time‑critical environment while contributing to a positive and collaborative team dynamic.
Comfortable working within a highly regulated, legislation‑driven environment and adapting to different jurisdictions as required.
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Court/Registry procedures and computer systems to provide accurate, timely and consistent support to clients and the Court.

Demonstrated good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to accurately interpret, record and process information.
