Job Description
This role is open to applicants based in the UK only and is ideal for tutors seeking flexible, remote work teaching GCSE and A-Level students.

Top Marks Tuition is a long-established online tuition provider supporting students across GCSE and A-Level Maths and Sciences. We are a small, family-run business focused on structured, high-quality one-to-one tuition and long-term student progress.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and knowledgeable tutor to join our team on a self-employed subcontractor basis.
This role is primarily focused on supporting GCSE and A-Level students in Biology and Chemistry, with additional Maths teaching highly desirable.
Most tuition takes place during weekday evenings, with some weekend availability also beneficial.
Subjects Required
Applicants must be able to teach:
A-Level Biology
A-Level Chemistry
GCSE Maths and Sciences
The following would also be advantageous:
A-Level Maths
Availability for evening and/or weekend tuition
Responsibilities
Deliver one-to-one online tuition sessions
Support students with subject understanding, revision, and exam preparation
Plan structured lessons tailored to individual student needs
Track progress and provide constructive feedback
Communicate professionally with parents and the Top Marks Tuition team
What We’re Looking For
Strong subject knowledge in Biology and Chemistry at A-Level
Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Reliable, professional, and confident working independently
Comfortable teaching motivated GCSE and A-Level students online
