ExtraLearn – A Freelance Educational Marketplace by SiteSign, is seeking knowledgeable and passionate Online EVS Tutors (Freelance) to provide quality learning support to students across different academic levels. This is a flexible, work-from-home opportunity for educators, environmental science experts, and professionals dedicated to helping learners understand the relationship between humans and the environment, develop awareness of nature, and achieve academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct online EVS tutoring sessions for students of different grades and learning levels.
Teach fundamental and advanced concepts related to Environmental Studies (EVS), including the environment, ecosystems, natural resources, biodiversity, health, hygiene, conservation, and sustainable living, based on the student’s curriculum and academic requirements.
Develop personalized lesson plans according to students’ learning needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Explain EVS concepts using engaging, practical, and interactive teaching methods, including real-life examples and activities.
Assign worksheets, projects, assignments, and assessments to monitor student progress.
Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their understanding, curiosity, and academic performance.
Create an engaging, supportive, and student-centered virtual learning environment.
Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication with students through the ExtraLearn platform.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Education, Geography, or a related field (preferred).
Strong understanding of Environmental Studies concepts and related topics.
Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching abilities.
Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, training, or online instruction will be an advantage.
Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards, or other educational tools.
Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods according to different learning styles.
Relevant teaching certifications, advanced qualifications, or practical experience in environmental studies will be an added advantage
