Title: Online Event Coordinator
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Duration: Contract
Compensation: $24.00-$25.00/hour

What We Do:
The Experiences & Production team is responsible for creating and marketing world-class gaming events and broadcasts for gaming.
The Role:
The Online Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and growing gaming community programs and gaming/creator events.
Your Contribution:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Online Event Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a smooth and engaging Discord experience for our users. You will manage daily support tickets and channels, addressing user queries and concerns to maintain a positive community environment. Your exceptional communication skills will be crucial in engaging the community, making announcements, and facilitating discussions.
As the Online Event Coordinator, you will play a vital role in organizing various community events. This includes live events, where you will support the execution of game tournaments, contests, community game nights, live broadcasts, and more. Your experience in event coordination and moderation will ensure that events run smoothly, creating a memorable experience for participants. Additionally, you will be responsible for data collection and analysis, gathering insights and member feedback to drive continuous improvement. In-game hosting and troubleshooting will be part of your responsibilities, requiring you to provide technical support and assistance to users during events. Finally, you will support planning efforts, exploring tools and software to enhance the community experience.
Overall, this role requires a candidate with excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a passion for community management. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, problem-solving, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. A deep understanding of Discord and community dynamics, along with experience in event management and data analysis, will be highly valued.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Passion and understanding for the gaming and creator community.
Proven experience in community management, preferably within a gaming environment.
Extensive knowledge of Discord; features, tools, and best practices.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with event management and the ability to plan/execute community events.
A proactive, self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work with a team.
Flexible Schedule – Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or alternative time zones.
In addition, preferable skills include:
Knowledge of Adobe / Figma / Google software suites
Familiarity with data collection and analysis, with the ability to extract meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations.
Technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills particularly related to in-game hosting and software issues.
