Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Online Biology Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong subject knowledge, and experience working with diverse learners. This role involves helping students prepare for IB Biology tests by developing effective study strategies and providing personalized instruction to improve their skills and confidence.
Duties
Conduct one-on-one online teaching
Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement.
Assist students in mastering key concepts in subjects like math and science
Utilize computer skills to incorporate digital resources, practice tests, and interactive learning tools into tutoring sessions.
Track student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, or school staff to support student success and address individual needs.
Assign weekly homework
Qualifications
Experience working with High school students (Grade * to 12).
Strong background in online tutoring, especially in math and science.
Knowledge of standardized test formats and effective test-taking strategies.
Familiarity with computer skills and educational technology tools used for instruction.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and patiently.

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
