Office Manager Opportunity at The Cheer Pitt Kansas City
Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional looking for a rewarding role? The Cheer Pitt Kansas City, a respected cheerleading company based in Olathe, KS, is seeking a reliable and motivated Office Manager & Social Media Marketer to help support our dynamic team. If you're passionate about operations, customer service, and contributing to the success of a growing business, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Hours: 12 PM - 8 PM.
Key Responsibilities of an Office Manager & Social Media Marketer:
Daily Duties:
Answer phone calls, emails, and messages from clients and team members
Confirm and manage appointments, including making last-minute adjustments
Monitor tuition payments, oversee AutoPay transactions, and resolve any payment issues
Apply late fees and communicate payment reminders with families as necessary
Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, members, and vendors
Weekly Duties of an Office Manager & Social Media Marketer:
Maintain and update schedules for classes and private lessons
Post tuition payments to accounts and reconcile AutoPay transactions
Process payroll and verify employee timesheets
Ensure member profiles, waivers, and registration forms are up to date
Oversee gym cleanliness and coordinate inventory for vending machines
Update announcements on the website and via Band
Provide leadership with weekly status updates and reports
Social Media & Communication:
Create and schedule engaging social media content (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Professionally respond to messages and comments across digital platforms
Collaborate on content creation that reflects the gym’s culture and upcoming events
Ensure consistent and accurate information across all digital channels
Monthly/Seasonal Duties:
Send tuition reminders and account statements to families
Manage Spirit Wear orders and inventory
Coordinate logistics for competitions (hotels, travel, registrations, packets)
Process new hires, junior coach applications, and team updates
Ensure proper filing of waivers and essential documents
Additional Responsibilities:
Register students for events, competitions, and special programs
Onboard new members and provide welcome materials
Coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams as needed
Assist in organizing special events, clinics, and team meetings
Maintain and update internal documentation and forms
Requirements of an Office Manager & Social Media Marketer:
Minimum of 2 years of administrative or operations experience (cheer, gym, sports, or child enrichment background is a plus)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Google Suite, scheduling software, and basic accounting/payment systems
Comfortable managing social media platforms and posting regularly
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, especially during competition seasons and special events
Positive, proactive attitude with a team-first mentality
