As a Research and Design Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the home textile industry while working on exciting and meaningful projects. This internship offers valuable insights into various aspects of our business, from design creation to client communication and data analysis. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication: Handle client inquiries and messages promptly and professionally. Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients.
Design Creation: Create captivating and unique textile designs using tools like Canva or other design software as required.
Research and Tabulation: Conduct research on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor analysis. Organize and tabulate data using Excel.
Prospective Client Outreach: Reach out to potential clients through calls or emails to introduce our products and services, showcasing our dedication to customer satisfaction.
Day-to-Day Activities: Assist in various daily tasks as needed to support different departments within the company.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., textile design, marketing, business, etc.).
Creative flair and an eye for design, with experience in design software like Canva.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and tabulation.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
A passion for textiles and home decor is a plus.
