Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring smooth office operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where strong communication, multitasking, and clerical skills are valued. Experience with medical or dental offices, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office is highly desirable.

Duties

Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Handle filing, document proofreading, and general administrative tasks to support office functions
Assist with bookkeeping and basic financial record keeping using QuickBooks
Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and providing support to clients or patients
Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage calendars for staff or medical/dental offices
Support medical or dental office operations by managing patient records and supporting reception activities
Perform clerical duties such as typing, organizing files, and supporting team members with administrative needs
Requirements

Proven experience in an office environment, including clerical or administrative roles
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry tasks
Experience with QuickBooks and bookkeeping is a plus
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and data management
Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service experience
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and support front desk operations
Previous experience in medical or dental office settings is preferred, including familiarity with dental receptionist duties or medical office procedures
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives

Pay: $17.30-$18.50 per hour
