Job Title: Injury Management Advisor (OHSEC)
About the Role:

The Queensland Corrective Services is seeking a permanent full-time Injury Management Advisor (OHSEC) to join its Health, Safety and Wellbeing team.
This role involves coordinating best practice injury management services in a challenging operational environment.
As an Injury Management Advisor, you will be responsible for individualised case management of injured or ill QCS employees, coordinating rehabilitation programs and supporting workers, managers and executive leaders to understand their obligations under relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing and coordinating best practice injury management services in a challenging operational environment
Coordinating rehabilitation programs for injured or ill QCS employees
SUPPORTING WORKERS, MANAGERS AND EXECUTIVE LEADERS TO UNDERSTAND THEIR OBLIGATIONS UNDER RELEVANT LEGISLATION
PROVIDING SIGNIFICANT SUPPORT AND ADVICE TO CENTRE MANAGEMENT TO PROMOTE AND EMBED A SAFETY CULTURE ACROSS THE CENTRE
ASSISTING WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION AND REVIEW OF THE CENTRE'S OHSE FRAMEWORK
Location: Various locations across Queensland, including Woodford, Wolston Correctional Centre, Brisbane Womens Correctional Centre, Borallon Training Correctional Centre, Lotus Glenn and Maryborough.
