We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Duties
Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical conditions.
Manage acute and chronic illnesses across various specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and internal medicine.
Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory testing, sonography, catheterization procedures, spinal taps, and medical imaging interpretation.
Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring patient confidentiality.
Assist with specialized treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy for aesthetic or medical purposes and dermal fillers for cosmetic enhancement.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment during procedures like suturing or catheter care.
Educate patients on health coaching topics including nutrition, family planning, memory care for dementia patients, hospice & palliative medicine approaches, and senior or memory care needs.
Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations including OSHA standards and state-specific licensing requirements.
Experience
Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), Level I & II trauma centers or outpatient clinics.
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms for documentation and patient management.
Extensive background in acute care procedures such as airway management, ventilator support, gastric lavage, catheterization techniques (including Foley catheters), phlebotomy and venipuncture.
Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate billing and documentation purposes.
Experience in telehealth services to extend healthcare access remotely while maintaining high standards of patient care delivery. Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
