About the Position: This position is organizationally assigned to Maternal-Child-Infant Nursing, Directorate of Nursing Services, of a Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation ['Provides care to the routine obstetrical patient and infant.', 'Administers and monitors oxygen therapy and utilizes intensive pulmonary care techniques.', 'Administers a wide variety of rapid-acting and highly potent medications (direct intravenous and other routes) according to specialty policies, procedures, and protocols.', 'Performs specialized monitoring and procedures to the neonatal patient.', 'Participates in multifaceted staff development activities at the unit and command level,', 'Participates in cross training initiatives.', 'Participates in the orientation and training of newly assigned unit personnel.', 'Uses patient relations concepts and methods to resolve complaints or conflicts regarding nursing related issues, working relationships, or unit conditions.', 'Promotes patient and staff safety through education and adherence to accepted safety and infection control standards.'] FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
