Nurse (Consultant) (Clinical Measurement)

About the Position: The incumbent of this position will serve as a Nurse (Consultant) (Clinical Measurement) for Defense Health Agency Headquarters located in either Falls Church, VA or San Antonio, TX. Certification in healthcare quality is strongly preferred (Certified Healthcare Clinical Quality Management or Certified Professional Healthcare Quality). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation ['Continuously improve the clinical quality of care provided world-wide in both the direct and purchased care sectors.', 'Serve as an advisor on matters and issues pertaining to the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical quality programs and activities with external quality assurance and improvement organizations.', 'Provide expert advice to provider groups and military treatment facilities regarding the development, interpretation and application of policies, procedures, directives, instructions and contracts.', 'Serve as a liaison with major federal, state and private agencies, professional associations and societies, prominent professional health care experts.', 'Conduct extensive coordination efforts with other DoD and Federal agencies in order to implement new clinical quality programs.'] FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
