Job Vacancy: Warehouse Operative (Late Shift)
Location: Northampton
Pay: £12.76 per hour
Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) & 08:30-17:30 (Friday)
We are looking to strengthen our team in Northampton by recruiting several Warehouse Operatives for our late shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving, well-established company and build a long-term career.
We are seeking motivated, driven individuals who are ready to work in our busy, fast-paced Northampton warehouse on a permanent, full-time basis.
Holiday Allowance: 22 days of holiday per year (which increases with your length of service) plus bank holidays.
Experience: No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided from day one.
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate.
Daily Shift Bonus: if you complete all shifts Monday- Thursday you get an additional £100.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Select, measure, cut, and drum cables correctly following specific job orders.
Prepare, secure, and pack orders safely for transit.
Follow standard operating procedures to a high standard.
Accurately log all completed jobs on company work sheets.
Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
Training and Qualifications
While experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not essential. We will provide full training, including:
General warehouse stock and inventory systems.
Cutting procedures and techniques using specialized machinery ranging from 0.5 to 12 tonnes.
Cable cutting procedures and general safety protocols.
Forklift Licence: We prefer candidates to hold a Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence. However, if you do not have one, full training and licensing will be provided by the company.
