Our client NETS International looking a highly motivated and skilled NOC L2 Engineer to join our dedicated Network Operations Center team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a stable, permanent role where you will play a crucial part in maintaining the health and performance of our network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
• Monitor network performance and availability using established tools and methodologies, identifying potential issues before they impact users.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve complex network incidents within defined service level agreements (SLAs) to minimize downtime.
• Perform in-depth log analysis to identify root causes of recurring problems and implement preventative measures.
• Utilize ticketing systems to meticulously document, track, and manage all network-related incidents and requests.
• Collaborate with L1 support and other IT teams to escalate and resolve issues, ensuring a seamless support experience.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) charts for network operations and support processes.
• Actively participate in ITIL framework-driven processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
Required Qualifications
• 1 year of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar IT support role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Network Monitoring tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Incident Management and Troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience with Log Analysis for issue diagnosis.
• Proficiency in using Ticketing Systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Solid knowledge of network protocols including SNMP, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with the ITIL Framework.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven Problem Solving abilities and a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a Teamwork environment.
• Basic understanding of Databases and their role in IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with RACI Charts and their application in defining roles and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with advanced network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA).
• Experience with cloud-based network environments.
• Proficiency in English and Urdu.
