NOTE: This is an unpaid internship, an experience letter would be awarded to the intern on completion of the internship period, i.e 3 months. Mumbai Uncensored, founded in 2014, has grown from an Instagram community supporting artists and photographers to a magnanimous Media & News Company! Mumbai Uncensored has an audience of more than 1,11,843 people monthly! We draw more than 10,000 unique visitors a month and leads the Instagram Hashtag space with more than +,43,000 people using our hashtag #Mumbai_Uncensored. Mumbai Uncensored draws more than 4,03,100 Digital Impressions Monthly! Responsibilities: • Pitching and writing daily news stories for www.mumbaiuncensored.com. There are also opportunities to report and write longer features for the News Portal. • Final fact checks • Maintain Deadlines Prerequisites: • Must have an excellent command of the English language. • Must be passionate about Journalism. • Should be able to meet deadlines with efficiency, to produce quality work. • The ability to write crisp, engaging and error-free headlines and copy. • Attention to detail. • An appreciation for the power and dynamics of digital media and social platforms, and the skills to exploit them (prior experience in any form of digital publishing is a plus). • The ability to be agile and learn new skills and different ways of doing things. • The ability to remain focused and thrive in a fast-paced environment
