Job Description
Cypress Industries is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented New Product Development (NPD) Engineer – Wire Harness for our Chancharwadi (Vasna) plant. The role involves developing new wire harness products from concept to production while coordinating closely with production, quality, procurement, and customers.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of development activities, solve technical challenges quickly, and ensure smooth execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Schedule & Location
Working Days: Monday – Saturday
Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Location: Chancharwadi Plant, Vasna, Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities
Handle new product development activities for wire harness projects.
Study customer drawings and technical requirements.
Prepare BOMs and engineering documentation.
Support FSA activities and new line setup execution.
Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and customer teams.
Ensure timely completion of project milestones and customer deliverables.
Support engineering changes and resolve technical issues during project execution.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, or related field.
Good understanding of wire harness manufacturing and assembly processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple project responsibilities.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in wire harness development/design/engineering.
Strong understanding of wire harness components, crimping, routing, and assembly processes.
Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Knowledge of AutoCAD/CATIA/SolidWorks or similar tools preferred.
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, or related field.
