Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Linux Network Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Linux systems, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting in maintaining secure and reliable IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating systems.
• Monitor system and network performance to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot Linux, network, and connectivity-related issues.
• Assist in configuring and managing LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall settings.
• Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security checks.
• Support server backup and recovery processes.
• Monitor system logs and resolve performance-related issues.
• Assist in network device configuration, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.

Required Skills:
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.).
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting (Bash) is preferred.
• Understanding of server administration and system security.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Educational Qualification:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Linux, Networking, or Cloud certifications will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualification:
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or VirtualBox.
• Internship or project experience in Linux administration or networking is preferred.
