Job Summary
Neoteric Properties is seeking a skilled and proactive Network & IT Engineer to manage the organization's IT infrastructure, network systems, hardware, software, and technical support. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations, maintain network security, and provide timely technical assistance to employees.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Manage network performance and ensure maximum uptime.
Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and applications.
Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, and network-related issues.
Configure and manage user accounts, system permissions, and access controls.
Perform regular system backups and ensure data security.
Monitor antivirus solutions and implement cybersecurity best practices.
Coordinate with internet service providers and third-party vendors for IT-related services.
Maintain IT inventory, asset records, and documentation.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and system performance issues.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
Support CCTV systems, biometric attendance devices, IP phones, and other office IT infrastructure.
Perform preventive maintenance of IT systems and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's/ Master's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN).
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networking.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
Familiarity with Active Directory, domain management, and user administration.
Experience with hardware troubleshooting and system maintenance.
Basic knowledge of server management and virtualization.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and endpoint protection.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Network Administration, IT Support.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Experience with CCTV, biometric systems, and IP telephony.
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Bash) is an advantage.
