We plan to give each driver 60 to 160 package a day. Delivery area 1 to 50 miles from the center of Secaucus NJ

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to homes and businesses, ensuring each customer experience is positive and memorable. Whether navigating busy routes or handling heavy loads, your contributions will keep our operations running smoothly and reliably.
Duties
Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following all traffic laws and safety protocols.
Load and unload packages using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of heavy or fragile items.
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delays, maintaining a focus on timely deliveries.
Deliver packages directly to customers’ doors, verifying recipient information and obtaining signatures when required.
Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, sorting packages, and preparing shipments for delivery.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
Handle customer interactions professionally, addressing questions or concerns with a friendly and helpful attitude.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as needed throughout your shift.
Support loading and unloading activities at the warehouse or distribution center to facilitate smooth operations.
Use manual transmission vehicles confidently, demonstrating strong driving skills in various conditions.
Experience
Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred; familiarity with route driving is essential.
Warehouse experience including heavy lifting, moving items, or operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
Customer service skills that enable positive interactions with clients during deliveries.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages repeatedly throughout the day.
Knowledge of safe driving practices, traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance routines.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $150.00 - $400.00 per day
