What You’ll Do:
As an NDIS Support Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in empowering participants to navigate and make the most of their NDIS plans. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting participants to understand, implement, and maximise their NDIS plans by linking them to appropriate informal, community, and funded supports.
Collaborating with participants to identify their goals and ensuring effective allocation of funding to meet those goals.
Assisting with NDIS plan reviews by evaluating current supports and identifying opportunities for additional or alternative services.
Researching and recommending service providers tailored to the participant’s individual needs, preferences, and goals.
Building and maintaining strong partnerships with allied health professionals, community organisations, and government services to expand support options for participants.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated professional who is committed to improving outcomes for NDIS participants. To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proven experience as a Support Coordinator, with a solid understanding of NDIS processes and participant needs. Experience: Support Coordination: 1 year (Required)
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and provide tailored support.
Strong organisational and communication abilities.
A proactive and positive approach, with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
A valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
A valid Working with Children Check (for paid employment).
A National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months).
An NDIS Worker Screening Check.
