About the opportunity
Lead national GP Training strategy alignment and delivery, translating RACGP priorities into training strategic initiatives and priorities. Contribute to program improvement and leading workplan development, monitoring and reporting. You will report to the National Director of Medical Education and you will line manage the program lead of the national medical education support team. You will partner with senior leaders, training teams and key stakeholders to deliver consistent, efficient, future-ready GP training.

About the role
Drives the establishment and execution of RACGP GP Training strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and Education and Training business unit objectives.
Supports national training strategic and operational oversight of RACGP GP Training programs working closely with senior Education and Training leaders
Develops reporting, briefing papers and strategic updates for key internal committees, supporting clear, timely and consistent decision-making.
Collaborates with national, regional and Medical Education teams to align programs, resources and delivery across GP Training.
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency across GP Training programs, systems and processes, while working collaboratively with national and regional teams to maintain quality, consistency and value for investment.
Skills & experience
Experience in strategic planning and execution, ideally within an education, health or training environment.
Strong program, budget and resource management skills, with the ability to identify risks, opportunities and efficiencies
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into clear reports, briefings and recommendations
Ability to build trusted relationships and work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
