Role Purpose The Lead – HRBP for AND and Global Desi will serve as the strategic HR partner to the business leadership teams, driving people strategy and organizational effectiveness across all customer-facing functions nationally. The role will lead the HR agenda for retail stores, area management, regional operations, visual merchandising, and other frontend teams across India. The incumbent will be responsible for translating business priorities into people strategies, enhancing employee engagement, strengthening leadership capability, driving talent outcomes, and ensuring a high-performance culture across the brands. This role will lead a team of four Regional HR Managers and oversee HR delivery across the entire retail network. Key Responsibilities Partner with Brand, Retail, and Sales Leadership teams to drive business performance through effective people strategies and workforce planning. Lead the end-to-end HR agenda for all frontend and customer-facing teams across AND and Global Desi stores nationally. Drive talent acquisition for retail and regional teams, ensuring timely hiring and strong talent pipelines across locations. Own key talent processes including performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development. Build a high-engagement, high-performance culture through employee engagement, recognition, retention, and capability-building initiatives. Ensure strong employee relations practices and adherence to company policies, statutory compliance, and HR governance standards. Drive consistency and excellence in HR operations across stores, including onboarding and induction, uniform management and distribution, employee documentation, and overall employee experience. Conduct regular store visits to understand business challenges, assess people practices, and strengthen frontline engagement. Lead, coach, and develop a team of four Regional HR Managers to ensure effective HR delivery and execution across all regions. Monitor key HR metrics including attrition, hiring, productivity, engagement, and compliance, and drive interventions to improve business outcomes. Desired Candidate Profile Education MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution. Experience 12–18 years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure to Retail, Fashion, Lifestyle, Consumer, QSR, Hospitality, or other large frontline workforce environments. Proven experience in HR Business Partnering at a regional or national level. Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and multi-location operations.
