ABOUT THE ROLE
A great opportunity exists for you to join the Pickles Industrial Division as a National Account Manager. This role is centered around looking after all customers, from small business operations to major finance and leasing companies and large corporate fleets. In this role, you will be specifically assigned to major accounts nationally for all industrial assets, from end to end. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with a flexible working environment.
This role would suit someone with experience in a similar role in a related industry who is looking to take the next step in their career or is looking for a change. In this role your key responsibilities would include:
Reviewing client’s stock on hand to determine the best solution for the sale of their assets, while also meeting or achieving KPI’s
Working closely with strategic clients to determine their present and future needs, and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue for the organisation
Managing the daily innerworkings of key national accounts, pre-sales, post sales, referrals, reserves, UFWT, transport, etc
Acting as a key interface between the client and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times
Effectively managing client’s stock on hand by running regular stock management reports and actioning items accordingly
Conducting product demonstrations (where applicable) and coordinating the preparation of sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and account management plans
Participating in the account planning process
Proactively building and maintaining strong working relationships with our vendors and buyers
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
Expert product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution
Appreciation of the value/importance of the account, coupled with the ability to balance the needs of the organisation and the client's organisation
Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills
The ability to be adaptable and flexible in fast paced environments;
Highly driven and energised
Organised with a solution focused approach to work
Decisive & skilled problem solver
Resolves conflicts effectively
Ability to learn software packages quickly
An ability to work remotely and self-motivate
High level of interpersonal skills and proven experience building and maintain client relationships
