Responsibilities
• Provide L2/L3 support for Murex BO (Back Office) issues in a production environment.
Monitor and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests related to Murex workflows and BO modules.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in trade confirmations, settlements, payments, and accounting within Murex.
Investigate and resolve STP (Straight-Through Processing) breaks and reconciliation issues.
Support batch processes (EOD/Intraday), reporting issues, and interfaces between Murex and other upstream/downstream systems ( Swift, accounting systems).
Participate in release management, testing, and deployment activities related to system changes.
Document incident resolutions, known errors, and standard procedures.
Provide on-call/off-hours support as required.
SKILLS
Must have
• 4-7 years of experience in Murex application support, with at least 5 years focused on Back Office modules.
Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and settlement processes for various asset classes (Equities, Commodities, etc.).
Experience with Murex workflows , confirmations, settlements, accounting (Datamart knowledge is a plus).
Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, and batch job monitoring tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
