The Multi Skilled Technician is responsible for performing a variety of technical maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including basic electrical, plumbing,
carpentry, and mechanical work. The role supports the smooth functioning of infrastructure by addressing minor repairs and assisting specialized technicians as
needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing switches, sockets, and lights.
Carry out basic plumbing tasks including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fittings.
Assist in HVAC maintenance and general mechanical support.
Conduct routine inspections and report issues to the Shift Engineer.
Support carpentry work such as fixing doors, windows, and furniture.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency calls.
Qualifications & Experience:
ITI certification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical trades preferred.
6 months4 years of experience in multi-trade maintenance, preferably in a or commercial facility.
Ability to work across different technical domains with minimal supervision.
Skills Required:
Versatility in handling multiple maintenance tasks
Basic troubleshooting and repair skills
Good communication and teamwork
Awareness of safety and infection control protocols
Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies
