Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Motion Graphic Video Editor role based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will conceptualize, design, and animate motion graphics for marketing campaigns, social media, product launches, and brand storytelling. Daily responsibilities include editing video footage, integrating graphics and typography, refining transitions, and applying color grading to deliver polished final assets. The role also involves collaborating with marketers, designers, and copywriters to translate creative briefs into engaging visual narratives, maintaining brand consistency across all video content, and meeting project timelines. The Motion Graphic Video Editor will be expected to stay updated on industry trends, experiment with new visual styles, and contribute ideas that enhance the impact of Canvas & Co.’s campaigns.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience managing end-to-end video workflows.
• Proficiency in Motion Graphics and Graphics, including creating animated assets, titles, and visual elements for digital content.
• Ability in Video Color Grading to enhance mood, consistency, and overall production quality.
• Experience with industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent software).
• Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition tailored for digital and social platforms.
• Attention to detail, ability to handle multiple projects, and commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
• Relevant education in design, film, animation, media, or equivalent practical experience; a portfolio showcasing motion graphics and video editing work is required.
