Mosquito Shield of Downtown Atlanta was founded two years ago. We serviced our first customers in June of 2021. During that time, we have won two "Best Mosquito Control Company in Atlanta" awards. We are currently a very small company and experienceing exponential growth. Because of that, what I am seeking is more of a partner who wants to work with us to continue this growth. If you approach this position that way and work hard, as we continue to grow, you will move into management very quickly and have an opportunity to eventually move into ownership.
We are hiring Mosquito Control Technicians for the 2023 Season
Position pays $120 per day (15/hr equivalent) plus weekly per yard bonus and new customer bonuses. This could reach $30+ per hour equivalent depending on company growth. GA licensed pest control applicators receive a signing bonus of $1,000. Other candidates receive $600 on completion of licensing. This position also has growth potential into management and even ownership.
The perfect candidate for this job has these skills:
Must be able to carry a 20-to-60-pound backpack over varied terrain.
Must be able to operate company van safely and have clean driving record.
Must be trainable to complete duties properly and receive license.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass Background Checks.
Primary Responsibilities
Our technicians’ primary tasks are to our customers properties to protect them from mosquitoes, fleas and ticks using the Mosquito Shield Proprietary blends of products.
To accomplish this, the technician will be responsible to:
Mix products safely and in the proper proportions.
Drive the company van safely to and from customer properties.
Apply primary products using a 20-to-60-pound backpack throughout the property.
Identify additional concerns and apply secondary products or inform homeowner if necessary.
Place signs and other materials for legal and marketing purposes.
Complete paperwork and maintain equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
